The Chase Heat are a junior 'B' ice hockey team based in Chase, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The Heat play their home games at the Art Holding Memorial Arena. Darryl Adamson is the team's president, Brad Fox is the general manager and the coach. The Heat joined the league in 2011 as an expansion team. The 100 Mile House Wranglers are a junior 'B' ice hockey team based in 100 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The ''Wranglers'' play their home games at the South Cariboo Rec Centre. Tom Bachynski is the team's governor and Dale Hladun is the general manager and coach. They are currently captained by forward Ethan Sanders. The ''Wranglers'' joined the league in 2013 as a relocated team. The franchise originally started as the Summerland Sting in 2001, then relocated to Penticton as the Penticton Lakers in 2009. The Osoyoos Coyotes are a Junior "B" Ice Hockey team based in Osoyoos, British Columbia, Canada. The Revelstoke Grizzlies are a Junior "B" Ice Hockey team based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). They play their home games at Revelstoke Forum. History The Grizzlies were founded in 1993. They won the KIJHL Championship over the Osoyoos Storm in 1998. In the 2009-10 season, they not only won their Division, and KIJHL championship over the Leafs 4-1, but they went to the Cyclone Taylor Cup and won Gold, then they went to the Keystone Cup and won Gold. Kamloops Storm
The Kamloops Storm are a junior ice hockey team based in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Doug Birks Division of the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). They play their home games at MacArthur Island Olympic Arena . The Storm played in Osoyoos, British Columbia until 2006, when they were moved to Kamloops. The Beaver Valley Nitehawks are a junior 'B' ice hockey team based in Fruitvale, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Neil Murdoch Division of the Kootenay Conference of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL). The Nitehawks play their home games at Beaver Valley Arena. History Chase The Chiefs were founded as the Chase Chiefs in 2007. They did not qualify for the playoffs in their opening season, finishing with a record of 26-20-5. The following year, they finished 25-23-4, qualifying for the playoffs, where they lost in the second round to the Sicamous Eagles. In the 2009-10 season, they finished with a record of 26-20-4, finishing third in the Okanagan Division. 2010–11 KIJHL Season
The 2010–11 KIJHL season was the 44th season of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. Eighteen teams played 52 games each during the regular season schedule, which started on September 10, 2010 and ended on February 12, 2011.
