Charoen Sri 34 Bridge
Charoen Sri 34 Bridge ( th, สะพานเจริญศรี ๓๔, ) is a historic bridge in the Rattanakosin Island or Bangkok's old town zone. It was built in 1913, financed from King Rama VI's private fund, to celebrate his 34th birthday. The bridge has four plaster posts decorated with western style stucco. The Thai number ๔ on each post signifies the fourth year in the King Rama VI's reign. Charoen Sri 34 is a bridge across ''Khlong Khu Mueang Doem'' (old city moat), the moat surrounding the Grand Palace excavated since the King Rama I's reign. It is a bridge leading to the Supreme Court. Charoenrat 31 Bridge ( th, สะพานเจริญรัช ๓๑) is a historic bridge was built across the south city moat known as Pak Khlong Talat. It was paired with Chaloem Sawan 58 Bridge, built across the city moat in the north (demolished in 1971 from the construction of the Phra Pinklao Bridge). King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) gave contribution equal to his age build the bridge for public use, in the occasion of his birthday anniversary in 1910, which was also the first year of his reign. Ubonrat Bridge, sometimes written as Ubolratana Bridge ( th, สะพานอุบลรัตน์, ) is a historic bridge spanning Khlong Khu Mueang Doem (old city moat) in Rattanakosin Island or Bangkok's old town zone. Background The bridge was built in 1912 as a memorial to Princess Ubolratana Narinaga, the consort of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). It was built on a former bridge called "Hua Takae" (หัวตะเข้, ), which means "the head of a crocodile". Saphan Mon ( th, สะพานมอญ, ; lit. "Mon Bridge") is a historic bridge in Bangkok's Phra Nakhon District. Saphan Hok
Saphan Hok ( th, สะพานหก, ) is a bridge over the old city moat or Khlong Khu Mueang Doem. It's connected between Saranrom Park and Wat Ratchabophit in Bangkok's Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang and Wang Burapha Phirom sub-districts, Phra Nakhon district. Its name translates as "tipping bridge". It's a bridge that can be drawn up for boats passing through. Originally, it was a wooden bridge that was built from the same type bridge in the Netherlands. Pig Memorial ( th, อนุสาวรีย์หมู) is a memorial in Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang sub-district, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. Chang Rong Si Bridge ( th, สะพานช้างโรงสี, , ) is a bridge and monument in the Rattanakosin Island area of Phra Nakhon District, the historic centre of Bangkok. The bridge spans Khlong Khu Mueang Doem, the old city moat, and is locate behind the Ministry of Defense and at the front corner of the Ministry of Interior. Phan Phiphop Lila Bridge ( th, สะพานผ่านพิภพลีลา, , ; 'King's Cross Bridge') is a bridge across Khlong Khu Mueang Doem (), or old moat, in Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. The bridge connects Thanon Ratchadamnoen Nai (Inner Ratchadamnoen Road) with Thanon Ratchadamnoen Klang (Central Ratchadamnoen Road). Following the construction of Makkhawan Rangsan Bridge (; 'Bridge by the God Indra') in 1809, the construction of Phan Phiphop Lila Bridge began in 1902 at the command of King Chulalongkorn who desired to have an elegant bridge connected with the newly built Thanon Ratchadamnoen Nai.
