Charm School (TV Series)
''Charm School'' is a reality television series airing on VH1; it is a spin-off of ''Flavor of Love'' created by executive producers Cris Abrego and Mark Cronin. The first season, called '' Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School'', is hosted by comedian Mo'Nique and features thirteen contestants from the first two seasons of ''Flavor of Love''. The second season, called '' Rock of Love: Charm School'', is hosted by Sharon Osbourne and features fourteen contestants from the first two seasons of ''Rock of Love with Bret Michaels''. The third season, called ''Charm School with Ricki Lake'', is hosted by Ricki Lake and features contestants from ''Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels'' and ''Real Chance of Love''. The show ostensibly acts as a finishing school for its contestants that helps develop proper etiquette. Season 1 offered a prize of $50,000, while Seasons 2 and 3 doubled the amount to $100,000. Cris Abrego is an American television producer, writer, and former CEO oEndemol Shine North America Abrego is now the Chairman of Banijay America Group and president and CEO of Endemol Shine Holdings. Early life Abrego grew up in El Monte, California. He was a wrestler at California State University, Fullerton before graduating and moving to Los Angeles to work on reality television shows. ''Mediaweek'' was a New York–based trade magazine owned by e5 Global Media. It is part of Adweek Media Group, which in October 2008 announced the merging of its three separate editorial teams (''Adweek'', ''Brandweek'' and Mediaweek) into one. In 2011, ''Mediaweek'' and ''Brandweek'' were merged into Adweek. The chief editor was Michael Burgi. ''Mediaweek'' was founded in January 1991 by BPI Publications, parent company of ''Billboard''. EzyDVD is an Australian specialist home video retailer offering DVD, Blu-ray, and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs for purchase. At its peak in the mid-2000s the company had over 70 retail stores around Australia, but is now exclusively an online retailer. DVD Region Code
DVD region codes are a digital rights management technique introduced in 1997. It is designed to allow rights holders to control the international distribution of a DVD release, including its content, release date, and price, all according to the appropriate region. This is achieved by way of region-locked DVD players, which will play back only DVDs encoded to their region (plus those without any region code). The American DVD Copy Control Association also requires that DVD player manufacturers incorporate the regional-playback control (RPC) system. Theodore "Ted" Ramón Stryker (born Gary Ramón Sandorf) known on-air as simply "Stryker", is an American radio personality and disc jockey. Biography Stryker began his radio career while attending the University of Arizona where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. During those six and a half years, he began working at 92.1 KFMA in Tucson, Arizona, taking his air name from Robert Hays' character in the movie ''Airplane!''. He eventually moved back to Los Angeles, California, and worked at KROQ-FM 106.7 FM as a music DJ from 4pm to 7pm (PST).
