Charlotte Spurkeland
Charlotte Spurkeland (born 12 August 1987) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Hordaland during the term 2013–2017. In total she met during 150 days of parliamentary session. Hailing from Bergen, she has been a member of Bergen city council and worked her dayjob for the Conservative caucus in the council. She has chaired the Conservative Students in Norway and is a central board member of the Norwegian Young Conservatives. She has also been involved in student politics at the University of Bergen, where she has studied law. The Conservative Party or The Right ( nb, Høyre, nn, Høgre, , H; se, Olgešbellodat) is a liberal-conservative political party in Norway. It is the major party of the Norwegian centre-right, and was the leading party in government as part of the Solberg cabinet from 2013 to 2021. Hordaland
Hordaland () was a county in Norway, bordering Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Telemark, and Rogaland counties. Hordaland was the third largest county, after Akershus and Oslo, by population. The International Young Democrat Union (IYDU) is a global alliance of centre-right political youth organisations and the youth wing of the International Democrat Union. The IYDU in its current form was founded in March 1991 in Washington, D.C.
