Charlie Fisher
Charlie "Spot" Fisher (17 November 1892 – 4 Mar 1983) was an Australian rules footballer in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Foortball Fisher played in three consecutive premierships for Muckatah in the Goulburn Valley Football Association in 1910, 1911 and 1912, before playing with Kyabram Football Club in the Goulburn Valley Football League (GVFL) in 1913 and 1914. Fisher made his debut for the Carlton Football Club in round 2 of the 1914 season. Fisher played with Kyabram in the GVFL on a Wednesday, then with Carlton in the VFL on a Saturday in 1914. Fisher managed to kick 39 goals for Kyabram in 11 games and 22 goals for Carlton in 16 games in 1914! Cobram
Cobram is a town in the Australian state of Victoria. It is on the Murray River which forms the border between Victoria and New South Wales. Cobram along with the nearby towns of Numurkah and Yarrawonga is part of Shire of Moira and is the administrative centre of the council. Its twin town of Barooga is located on the north side of the Murray River. Surrounding Cobram are a number of orchards, dairy farms and wineries. At the 2016 census, Cobram had a population of 6,014. 1915 VFL Grand Final
The 1915 VFL Grand Final was an Australian rules football game contested between the Collingwood Football Club and Carlton Football Club, held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on 18 September 1915. It was the 18th annual Grand Final of the Victorian Football League, staged to determine the premiers for the 1915 VFL season. Kyabram Football Club Players
Kyabram is a town in north central Victoria, Australia. Kyabram is located in the centre of a rich irrigation district in the Goulburn River Valley, north of Melbourne. It is the second-largest town in the Shire of Campaspe, situated between the towns of Echuca and Shepparton and is close to the Murray River, Goulburn River, Campaspe River and Waranga Basin. Victorian Football Association
The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It includes teams from clubs based in the eastern states of Australia: Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and includes reserves teams for the east coast AFL clubs. The league evolved from the former Victorian Football Association (VFA), and it has been known by its current name since 1996. Brunswick Football Club
Brunswick Football Club was an Australian rules football club which played in the Victorian Football League, Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1897 until 1991. Based in Brunswick, Victoria, for most of their time in the Association they were known as the Magpies, and wore black and white guernseys. In its final two seasons in the VFA, it was known as Brunswick-Broadmeadows. History Brunswick Football Club was formed in 1865 and joined the VFA in the 1897 season.
