Charles Williams (pool Player)
Charlie Williams (born January 5, 1977, in Seoul, South Korea) is an American professional pool player. Williams represented America as a player at the Mosconi Cup 5 times ( 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005) and as a non-playing captain in 2011. In 2001, Williams founded the sports marketing company Dragon Promotions. At the 2008 WPA World Ten-ball Championships, Williams would reach the quarter-finals, defeating Chang Jung-Lin (9-8), and Fu Che-wei (9-5), before losing to Darren Appleton 11–5. In 2011, Williams reached the semi-finals of the Dragon 14.1 Tournament but lost to Mike Davis. Chang Jung-Lin
Chang Jung-lin (born May 2, 1985) is a Taiwanese 8-ball and Nine-ball pool player. He became WPA World Eight-ball Champion in 2012 and won the silver medal at the 2013 World Games for Nine-ball. Jun-Lin is a former world number 1, having done so first after winning WPA World Eight-ball Championship in 2012. He studied at Chinese Culture University and is currently married. Mike Davis (born January 13, 1975) is an American professional pool player. Davis was a part of the 2006 Mosconi Cup team representing the USA. The event would finish as a draw, with Davis also contributing three wins and three losses. At the 2011 Dragon 14.1 Tournament, Davis reached the final, however, he lost to Thorsten Hohmann. The final was tight with scores tied at 23-all, before Hohmann ran 102 balls, and eventually won 200–123. On route to the final, Davis defeated 200–133, Earl Herring 200–79, Mike Sigel 200–79, and Charlie Williams 200–166. Fu Che-wei born December 21, 1973 (Traditional Chinese: ; Tongyong Pinyin: Fù Ché-Wěi) is a Chinese Taipei professional pool player, nicknamed "the Draw Shot Prince." Career Fu made his first notable appearance when he finished among the top 32 competitors in the 2004 WPA World Nine-ball Championship (losing to Earl Strickland). He made a comeback at the 2006 event, he was eventually eliminated by runner-up Ralf Souquet in the semi-finals. 2008 WPA World Ten-ball Championship
The WPA 10-Ball World Championship 2008 was a ten-ball pool tournament held from September 29 to October 5, 2008, at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. The first edition of the WPA World Ten-ball Championship, it featured a field of 128 players competing in a double-elimination and then single-elimination tournament. The total prize fund for the event was $400,000 with $100,000 being awarded to the winner. The event was won by England's Darren Appleton, winning his first world championship, defeating nineteen year old Taiwanese Wu Chia-ching in the final 13–11.
