Charles Hall (Australian Politician)
Charles Henry Hall (1851 – 4 November 1922) was an Australian politician. He was born in Melbourne. In 1897 he was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly as the member for Waratah. In 1903 he stood for Burnie and was defeated, but in 1909 he was elected to the Tasmanian Legislative Council as the member for Russell. He was defeated in 1921 and died in Burnie Burnie is a port city on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia. Melbourne ( ; Boonwurrung/Woiwurrung: ''Narrm'' or ''Naarm'') is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second-most populous city in both Australia and Oceania. Its name generally refers to a metropolitan area known as Greater Melbourne, comprising an urban agglomeration of 31 local municipalities, although the name is also used specifically for the local municipality of City of Melbourne based around its central business area.
