Chapulineros De Oaxaca
Chapulineros de Oaxaca is a Mexican football team nicknamed ''Los chapulineros'' (Grasshoppers). The club was founded in 1983 and is based in the state of Oaxaca where it plays its home matches at the Estadio Independiente MRCI. The club has played in the Tercera División, Segunda División, and the Liga de Ascenso. Starting in 2020, they will play in the Liga de Balompié Mexicano. They previously played in the Liga Premier Serie B. History The club's origins date back to 1982, when the Benito Juárez Autonomous University of Oaxaca football team began to participate in the Segunda División "B". Two years later, the university bought team Pumas ENEP, a Pumas UNAM reserve team and was renamed as ''Chapulineros de Oaxaca'', playing at Segunda División "A". Estadio Independiente MRCI
Estadio Independiente MRCI is a football stadium in San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya, Oaxaca, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Chapulineros de Oaxaca and Mezcaleros de Oaxaca. The stadium seats 3,000 people. The stadium has a field of artificial grass, an area of stands, boxes, artificial lighting, dressing rooms, parking, cafeteria and a small sports complex annex, in addition to housing the clubhouse of Chapulineros de Oaxaca. Primera División A ''(Méxican First A Division)'' is a Mexican football tournament. This season was composed of Invieno 2001 and Verano 2002. Real San Luis was the winner of the promotion to First Division after winning Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz in the promotion playoff. However, Veracruz was also promoted to First Division after defeating Club León in a promotional series. The penalty shootout is a method of determining a winner in sports matches that would have otherwise been drawn or tied. The rules for penalty shootouts vary between sports and even different competitions; however, the usual form is similar to penalty shots in that a single player takes one shot on goal from a specified spot, the only defender being the goalkeeper. The Club Deportivo Atlético Veracruz, commonly known as Atlético Veracruz, is a Mexican football club based in Boca del Río, Veracruz. History The club was founded on 2013 as an affiliate of C.D. The Serie A has 33 teams (1 Liga MX Reserve Team, 3 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 29 Serie A Teams) divided into two groups. For the 2022–23 season, it will be a return of two short tournaments consisting of 10 total matches played home & away and the liguilla.
