Geronimo
Geronimo ( apm, Goyaałé, , ; June 16, 1829 – February 17, 1909) was a prominent leader and medicine man from the Bedonkohe band of the Ndendahe Apache people. From 1850 to 1886, Geronimo joined with members of three other Central Apache bands the Tchihende, the Tsokanende (called Chiricahua by Americans) and the Nednhito carry out numerous raids, as well as fight against Mexican and U.S. military campaigns in the northern Mexico states of Chihuahua and Sonora and in the southwestern American territories of New Mexico and Arizona. Geronimo's raids and related combat actions were a part of the prolonged period of the Apache–United States conflict, which started with the American invasion of Apache lands following the end of the war with Mexico in 1848. Reservation life was confining to the free-moving Apache people, and they resented restrictions on their customary way of life. James Jonathan Chapman (born 2 November 1979) is an Australian former national, Olympic representative and Olympic medal winning rower. Education Raised in Sydney, Chapman attended Newington College where he was coached by Michael Morgan , an Olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian, and Robert Buntine, deputy headmaster. In 1997 he was a member of the Newington Head of the River winning 1st VIII that won the centenary regatta. He studied accounting at the University of Technology Sydney. Club and state rowing His senior rowing was initially with the UTS Haberfield Rowing Club. For twelve of the thirteen years from 2003 to 2015 he was seated in the New South Wales state VIII which contested the King's Cup at the Australian Rowing Championships. John Chapman (evangelist)
John Charles Chapman (23 July 1930 – 16 November 2012), affectionately known as "Chappo", was an Australian preacher, Bible teacher and evangelist associated with the Sydney Anglican diocese. He wrote several books, including ''A Fresh Start''; ''Know and Tell the Gospel''; ''Setting Hearts on Fire'', ''A Sinner's Guide to Holiness''; and ''Making the Most of the Rest of Your Life'', all published by Matthias Media. The Australian edition of ''A Fresh Start'' has sold nearly 40,000 copies since 1999. Having begun his career as a teacher, Chapman shifted to Anglican ministry, his first curacy being at Moree. There he organised the Billy Graham Crusade landline services for the whole of Moree there. He started an interchurch prayer meeting in the Warriors Chapel of Moree's Anglican church in 1959 which is still going today. Mark Sinclair Chapman (born 27 June 1994) is a Hong Kong-born New Zealand international cricketer who has played limited over internationals for Hong Kong and New Zealand. Currently playing for New Zealand, Chapman is a left-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He made his One Day International debut for Hong Kong against the United Arab Emirates in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 16 November 2015. He is eligible to represent New Zealand through his father. In February 2018, he made T20I and ODI debuts for New Zealand against England. Mitchell Chapman also Mitch, Mark, Chappo, Horse (born 15 March 1983, in Sydney), educated at The King's School, Sydney. and Brisbane Grammar School, is an Australian Rugby Union player for NSW Waratahs in the Super Rugby competition. Chapman can play at Blindside Flanker, Lock, or Number 8. Chapman represented Australia at under 21 level in 2003 and 2004 and captained the Australian schoolboys in 2001. Chapman made his Super Rugby debut for the Queendsland Reds in 2005.. A career highlight was his call up for the 2006 Wallabies Spring Tour to replace to injured Dan Vickerman. Roger Chapman
Roger Maxwell Chapman (born 8 April 1942 in Leicester), also known as Chappo, is an English rock vocalist. He is best known as a member of the progressive rock band Family, which he joined along with Charlie Whitney, in 1966 and also the rock, R&B band Streetwalkers formed in 1974. His idiosyncratic brand of showmanship when performing and vocal vibrato led him to become a cult figure on the British rock scene. Chapman is claimed to have said that he was trying to sing like both Little Richard and his idol Ray Charles. Since the early 1980s he has spent much of his time in Germany and has made occasional appearances there and elsewhere. In Germany, he was awarded an ''Artist of the Year'' award during the 1980s, followed by a ''Lifetime Achievement Award'' in 2004.
