The discography of American R&B and jazz singer Chanté Moore consists of six studio albums, two collaborative albums, twenty-three singles, twenty collaborations and eleven music videos. Moore has had four record deals with MCA Records, Arista Records/ LaFace Records, Peak Records and Shanachie Records, before founding CM7 Records. Chanté Torrane Moore (born February 17, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, television personality, and author. Rising to fame in the early 1990s, Moore established herself as an R&B singer. Her debut studio album '' Precious'' was released in 1992. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on November 14, 1994, in the United States, spawning such R&B hits as " Love's Taken Over" and " It's Alright". Released in 1994, her second album, ''A Love Supreme'', did not achieve the same success as her debut album. In 1999, her third album, '' This Moment Is Mine'', was released. ''Love the Woman'' is the fifth solo album by singer Chanté Moore. It was released by Peak Records on June 17, 2008 in the United States. Her debut with the label, it marked her first release without husband Kenny Lattimore as a duet partner since the release of her 2000 album ''Exposed''. Moore reunited with producer George Duke and consulted Raphael Saadiq and Warryn Campbell to work with her on ''Love the Woman'' with the result that it encompasses contemporary R&B, jazz, and pop, and also finds Moore personalizing songs by two past artists, including Minnie Riperton and Nancy Wilson. It was released by LaFace Records and Verity through Sony BMG on October 10, 2006 in the United States. Formatted as a double album, the two-disc set consists of ''Uncovered'', a disc of R&B songs, and ''Covered'', a disc of gospel songs that were primarily produced by Fred Hammond. ''Uncovered/Covered'' received a Stellar Award nomination for Best Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year. Kenny Lattimore (born April 10, 1970) is an American R&B singer. Early life Lattimore first developed his interest for music in the high school band program at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland. He often acknowledges Dr. Barbara Baker for setting him on his current path. Lattimore spoke at the 2005 Eleanor Roosevelt High School Graduation. He is an alumnus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. Career 1988–1991: Maniquin A stint as session vocalist for R&B group Maniquin led to an official place in the group as lead singer. D'Extra Wiley of the 1990s R&B group II D Extreme was also a member of Maniquin, briefly before signing to MCA Records. The group released a lone self-titled album for Epic Records in 1989. K-Ci & JoJo is an American R&B duo, consisting of brothers Cedric "K-Ci" Hailey (born September 2, 1969) and Joel "JoJo" Hailey (born June 10, 1971). Natives of Monroe, North Carolina, they are also the lead singers of the chart-topping R&B group Jodeci with the DeGrate brothers—Donald (better known as DeVante Swing) and Mr. Dalvin.
