Muay Thai ( th, มวยไทย, , ), sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs", as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. Clifton Brown (boxer)
Clifton Brown (born August 29, 1976) is a Canadian retired Light Heavyweight Muay Thai Kickboxer of Jamaican descent, who fought out of Toronto, Ontario. Clifton is the President/CEO of Warrior Caste Productions Inc. A production company which focuses on Martial Arts through athlete documentaries, and day-to-day operations of MuayThai Premier League (The MPL). He is the first Canadian in History to achieve the level of World Champion in the sport of MuayThai. Clifton is also the first ever Canadian National team head coach. During his competitive career, Clifton became World Champion five times holding titles with the IMF(1x), WMC(3x), and IKKC(1x). Kaoklai Kaennorsing ( th, ก้าวไกล แก่นนรสิงห์; born September 13, 1983) is a former Thai light heavyweight Muay Thai fighter. Kaennorsing is the K-1 World Grand Prix 2004 in Seoul tournament winner, former two-division Rajadamnern Stadium champion, and former WBC Muay Thai Light Heavyweight Champion. At the time of his K-1 debut, on July 17, 2004 in Seoul, Kaoklai weighted , the lightest and youngest fighter ever to win a K-1 Openweight tournament. Julie Kitchen (born 19 April 1977) is an English sports commentator and retired kickboxer, Muay Thai fighter. Early life Julie Kitchen was born at Truro Hospital to parents Ivor and Lynn Barrett, as the middle child of three daughters. Between the ages of six and eleven she attended St.Paul's School in Penzance, Cornwall. She was a shy child making very few friends and was content with family life. Her family was very close and she played the role of a second mother to her younger sister. At the age of eleven she decided to become a vegetarian because she did not like the taste of meat. She remains a vegetarian to this day, but now includes fish into her diet. At the age of twelve she started at Humphry Davy School in Penzance where she continued to find socialising uncomfortable due to shyness.
