Champagne Cola
Champagne cola, Kola Champagne, or champagne soda is a sweetened carbonated beverage produced mainly in the tropics of Latin America, former British West Indies, and Pakistan. Kola Champagne was invented in Puerto Rico by Ángel Rivero Méndez. Rivero Méndez was a Captain in the Spanish Army during the Spanish–American War. In 1902, a few years after the end of the Spanish-American War, Rivero Méndez founded (The North Pole soda factory) where he created the Kola Champagne, which became, and still is, a popular soft drink in Puerto Rico. While elaborating the drink he worked on his bookChronicle of the Spanish-American War in Puerto Rico It is typically dark yellow to light brown in color, with a flavor comparable to bubblegum or cream soda, with no connection to "champagne" or "cola". Tropics
The tropics are the regions of Earth surrounding the Equator. They are defined in latitude by the Tropic of Cancer in the Northern Hemisphere at N and the Tropic of Capricorn in the Southern Hemisphere at S. Guaraná Antarctica is a guaraná-flavoured soft drink, originating in Brazil. It was created in 1921 by Pedro Baptista de Andrade for Companhia Antarctica Paulista. The Brooklyn Bottling Group is one of the largest independently owned beverage and food company in the United States. Founded by Jack Miller in 1936, the company started out by selling seltzers and syrups door to door in Brooklyn neighborhoods. Brasserie de la Couronne, S.A., is a carbonated soft drink manufacturer and the licensed bottler for the Coca-Cola Company in Haiti. It makes the popular Cola Couronne Fruit Champagne and recently added Diète Couronne Fruit Champagne, Couronne Limonade, and Diète Couronne Limonade. It bottles Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, and Gladiator for the Coca-Cola Company. History Brasserie de la Couronne was founded in 1924 and, three years later, the relationship with Coca-Cola started in 1927. It was acquired by Richard J. Cola Couronne (french: crown cola), is the oldest manufactured soft drink from Haiti by Brasserie de la Couronne S.A. It is arguably the country's most well-liked soda, as it is a staple beverage for Haitians and those abroad. In Haiti, Cola Couronne is sold in tall glass bottles or plastic bottles, as the amount of aluminum required to can the beverage does not exist in Haiti. However, canned Cola Couronne is produced in its U.S. plant in Miami, called Universal Beverages, LLC. As a result, cans are readily available in South Florida and other parts of the U.S. and Canada with a sizable population of Haitians, such as Montreal. In the Dominican Republic Cola Couronne is produced by the Coca-Cola company in Santo Domingo. Each can of Couronne has 120 calories and 31 grams of sugar.
