Chadian Football Federation
The Chadian Football Federation ( ar, الفيدرالية التشادية لكرة القدم, french: Fédération Tchadienne de Football Association, FTFA) is the governing body of football in Chad. It was founded in 1962, and affiliated to FIFA and to CAF in 1964. It organizes the national football leagues, including the Chad Premier League, Chad Cup and the national team. Its offices are located in N'Djamena. The FTFA is an apolitical, non-profit and non-denominational association. It has legal personality and financial autonomy. Its current president is Moctar Mahamoud Hamid. Chad Premier League (french: Ligue Nationale de Football, also known as LINAFOOT) is a Chadian league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Chadian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 12 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Division 2. Unlike the 1st LINAFOOT edition (in 2015) organised as a full national championship and won by Gazelle FC, the last three editions were organized under the play-off formula. Chad Cup
The Chad Cup is the top knockout tournament of the Chad football. The winner competes in the CAF Confederation Cup the following season. History The first competition began in 1973. The first part of the cup was delayed due to the Chadian Civil War that took place. The later part up to 1988 and from 2002 to 2003 were no held due to financial problems. Its first club into the continental competition was around the 1990s. From 2009 to 2012, Coupe de Ligue de N'Djaména was considered the national cup. The Chad national football team ( ar, منتخب تشاد لكرة القدم, french: Équipe du Tchad de football), nicknamed ''Sao'' ( ar, ساو), represents Chad in international football and is controlled by the Chadian Football Federation, the governing body for football in the country. N'Djamena ( ) is the capital and largest city of Chad. It is also a special statute region, divided into 10 districts or ''arrondissements''. The city serves as the centre of economic activity in Chad. Meat, fish and cotton processing are the chief industries, and it is a regional market for livestock, salt, dates, and grains. Adoum Younousmi
Adoum Younousmi (born 1962) is a Chadian politician who served in the government of Chad as Minister of Public Works and Transport from 2003 to 2005 and as Minister of State for Infrastructure from 2005 to 2011. He was briefly Prime Minister in an acting capacity for a few days in February 2007. Biography Younousmi was born in Fada, Chad, and is an engineer by training; he graduated from the National School of Engineering in Bamako, Mali. From 2000 to 2003, he was a representative of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation (ASECNA) in Chad.
