Chad Bettis
Chad Robert Bettis (born April 26, 1989) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies. He made his MLB debut in 2013. Prior to playing professionally, he attended Texas Tech University, where he played college baseball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Early life Bettis attended Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas. Playing for the school's baseball team, Bettis was named to the all-region team before his senior season. College career He attended Texas Tech University, where he played college baseball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders baseball team. The 2016 Colorado Rockies season was the franchise's 24th in Major League Baseball. It was the 22nd season the Rockies played their home games at Coors Field. After doing reasonably well most of the season and even posting a 54-53 (.505) record as late as August 3, they collapsed through the months of August and September, going an MLB-worst 21-34 in that span to finish 75-87, third place in the National League West, and missing the playoffs for the seventh consecutive season. The Houston Astros are an American professional baseball team based in Houston, Texas. Testicular Cancer
Testicular cancer is cancer that develops in the testicles, a part of the male reproductive system. Symptoms may include a lump in the testicle, or swelling or pain in the scrotum. Treatment may result in infertility. Risk factors include an undescended testis, family history of the disease, and previous history of testicular cancer. More than 95% are germ cell tumors which are divided into seminomas and nonseminomas. Other types include sex-cord stromal tumors and lymphomas. Diagnosis is typically based on a physical exam, ultrasound, and blood tests. Surgical removal of the testicle with examination under a microscope is then done to determine the type. Spring training is the preseason in Major League Baseball (MLB), a series of practices and exhibition games preceding the start of the regular season. The Pacific Coast League (PCL) is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in the Western United States. Along with the International League, it is one of two leagues playing at the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A level, which is one grade below Major League Baseball (MLB). Class AAA
Triple-A (officially Class AAA) has been the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946. Currently, two leagues operate at the Triple-A level, the International League (IL) and the Pacific Coast League (PCL). There are 30 teams, one per each Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise, with 20 in the IL and 10 in the PCL. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox were a Minor League Baseball team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
