Ceylan Arısan
Ceylan Arısan (born January 1, 1994 in Izmir, Turkey) is a Turkish female volleyball player. She is tall at and plays in the middle blocker position. She was with Karşıyaka İzmir before she transferred in 2008 to Eczacıbaşı VitrA. Arısan is a member of the Turkey women's national volleyball team, and wears number 6. European Youth Olympic Festival
The European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) is a biennial multi-sport event for youth (14 to 18 years old) athletes from the 50 member countries of the association of European Olympic Committees. The festival has a summer edition, held for the first time in Brussels in 1991, and a winter edition, which began two years later in Aosta. The 2011 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival was held in Trabzon, Turkey, between 23 and 29 July 2011. Sports There were nine sports at the 2011 Festival, two branches, table tennis and water polo, less than compared with the 2007 Youth Olympic Festival's programme. Existing sport halls were renovated and new arenas were built for this purpose with a total investment cost mounting up to TL 350 million (approx. US$54 million) for the Olympic Village within the campus of the Black Sea Technical University. Turkey Women's National Volleyball Team
The Turkey women's national volleyball team ( tr, Türkiye Kadın Voleybol Milli Takımı) is formed by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) and represents Turkey in international CEV and FIVB organizations. The team is one of the most successful national sports teams in the country and is nicknamed "Filenin Sultanları" ( en, Sultans of the Net) since the 2003 Women's European Volleyball Championship hosted in Ankara, Turkey. It is ranked sixth in the FIVB World Rankings as of October, 2022. It was the bronze medallist in both 2011 Women's European Volleyball Championship and 2012 FIVB World Grand Prix.
