Damla Çakıroğlu
Damla Çakıroğlu (born June 22, 1994) is a Turkish female volleyball player. She is and was the captain of the girls' youth national team and the women's junior national team. She played for TVF Fine Arts and Sports High School in Ankara. She wears number 1. Damla is the daughter of Melih Çakıroğlu, former coach of the Türk Telekom Basketball Club. Ankara Arena
The Ankara Arena ( tr, Ankara Spor Salonu), is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Ankara, Turkey that opened in April 2010. The seating capacity of the arena is 10,400 spectators. Built for the 2010 FIBA World Championship, the new venue replaced the nearby Ankara Atatürk Sport Hall as the home of Turkish Basketball League clubs, Hacettepe Üniversitesi, Türk Telekom Basketbol and Optimum TED Ankara Kolejliler. In 2011, the arena hosted along with the Başkent Volleyball Hall the FIVB Girls Youth World Championship. Matches of the 2012 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament for Women were played at the arena between June 25-July 1. Başkent Volleyball Hall
Başkent Volleyball Hall, ( tr, Başkent Voleybol Salonu) is an indoor volleyball venue within the TVF Sports Complex located at Beşevler neighborhood of Yenimahalle district in Ankara, Turkey. Opened in 2010, the venue has a seating capacity of 7,600 spectators. Construction The sports complex was commissioned by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and its construction began on 8 April 2009 with groundbreaking. The hall was opened on 6 February 2010 and named after "capital city" ( tr, Başkent). In addition to the Başkent Volleyball Hall, there are one training hall with 850-seat capacity, named Beşevler Volleyball Hall, two indoor beach volleyball courts with underfloor heating, various service facilities for sports and administration as well as a hall of fame.
