Ceyda Aktaş
Ceyda Aktaş (born August 18, 1994 in Ankara, Turkey) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall at and plays in the wing spiker position. Ceyda describes herself as having been hyperactivity, hyperactive in her childhood. For this, her parents canalized her to performing sports and dancing. She first began with playing basketball, but left it because she was not interested anymore. Ceyda then learned and performed Latin dances, participating at dance competitions as well. Due to her physique, she was discovered by volleyball coaches Zeycan Acar and Taner Atik, who visited her class in the school while searching for potential volleyballers. At the age of ten, Ceyda began playing volleyball in 2004 as a member of Ankara VakıfBank's girls team. After having played for TVF Sport High School between 2009-2011, she transferred to the Istanbul club VakıfBank Türk Telekom in the 2011-12 season. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The 2013 Women's Junior Volleyball World Championship was held in Czech Republic, for ten days between from 21 to 30 June 2013. This was the first edition of the tournament that features 20 teams. __TOC__ Qualification process Competition Formula The 20 teams will be divided into four pools of five teams each and will play a round-robin tournament. The bottom-ranked team of each pool will play classification matches for 17th-20th place in a round-robin system. The other 16 teams progress to the Eight Finals which consists of a playoff (1st of Pool A against 4th of Pool B etc.). Beylikdüzü is a district in the European side of Istanbul, Turkey, located north of the Sea of Marmara, south of Esenyurt, east of Büyükçekmece, and west of Avcılar.
