Redondela
Redondela is a town in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, northwestern Spain. The most famous icons of the village are its two major railway viaducts built in the nineteenth century. Due to these infrastructures Redondela is known under the nickname "Village of the viaducts." The town lies on the Portuguese Way path of the Camino de Santiago. The municipality has an area of 51.9 km2 (20.0 sq mi) and has a population of 29,192 in 2021. Pontevedra is a province of Spain along the country's Atlantic coast in southwestern Europe. The province forms the southwestern part of the autonomous community of Galicia. Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Iago Bouzón
Iago Bouzón Amoedo (born 16 March 1983) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a versatile defender. Club career Born in Redondela, Province of Pontevedra, Bouzón made his professional debut for local powerhouse RC Celta de Vigo four days shy of his 17th birthday, but would only appear in four first-team games in his first five years combined, playing mainly with the reserves. In his last season he also featured very sparingly, as the Galicians returned to La Liga after one year out. Bouzón signed with Recreativo de Huelva in 2005, initially on loan. Mendinho, also ''Meendinho'', ''Mendiño'' and ''Meendiño'', was a medieval Iberian poet. Nothing is known about Mendinho except by inference. Scholars generally assume from the reference to the shrine of ''San Simión'' (in the modern Isle of ''San Simón'', Rías Baixas of Vigo, Spain) that he was Galician. And it is supposed from his name (without any accompanying patronym or toponym), his style, and the place of his song in the manuscripts (the Cancioneiro da Vaticana, Vatican Library, and the Cancioneiro da Biblioteca Nacional, Lisbon, Portugal) that he was a ''jogral'' - a non-noble Minstrel. Mendinho may have been active in the early 13th century, making him one of the earliest poets in this genre whose work has survived. A single cantiga de amigo (song about a boyfriend sung in the feminine) is attributed to him - ''Sedia-m' eu na ermida de San Simion'', but it is among the most famous in the Galician-Portuguese lyric corpus of around 1685 texts.
