Westfield Chodov, previously known as Centrum Chodov, is a shopping center in the Chodov district of Prague, Czech Republic. It is located near the metro station of the same name, between the streets U Kunratického lesa, Roztylská and the D1 motorway towards Brno. Westfield Chodov is the largest shopping center in the Czech Republic with 300 shops, and the retail floor area is 100.000 m2, the second largest in the country behind shopping centre Letňany. The owner of Westfield Chodov is the company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. It was built in 2005, with a major expansion occurred in 2017. It receives 13 million customers annually, employing approximately 8,000 people. There is free WiFi throughout Westfield Chodov. Chodov (Prague)
Chodov () is a suburb of Prague in the Czech Republic. It lies in the south-east of the city, and became part of the Prague municipality in 1968. In terms of the Prague districts defined in 1960, it lay in administrative district 4, and its postal address is still Prague 4. However, since 2001 it has been placed in the administrative district Prague 11; within that, it lies in the Prague 11 municipal district. It has a Chodov (Prague Metro), Metro station, on the Line C (Prague Metro), C line. It is principally an area of large high-rise post-Second World War housing developments, but since the Velvet Revolution of 1989 there has been rapid development of commercial sites such as car dealerships; there are also some areas of detached housing. A park and ride, also known as incentive parking or a commuter lot, is a parking lot with public transport connections that allows commuting, commuters and other people heading to city centres to leave their vehicles and transfer to a bus, Rail transport, rail system (rapid transit, light rail, or commuter rail), or carpool for the remainder of the journey.
