The Central Exemplary Concert Band of the Russian Navy "Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov" (Russian language, Russian:Центральный концертный образцовый оркестр ВМФ им. Н.А. Russian military bands fall under the jurisdiction of the Military Band Service of the Armed Forces of Russia, which is the official music service for the Russian Armed Forces, and led by the Senior Director of Music, a billet of an officer with the rank of a Colonel or a general officer.
