Celestial (RBD Album)
''Celestial'' (English language, English: ''Heavenly'') is the third studio album by Mexicans, Mexican Latin pop vocal group RBD, released on November 23, 2006 in Mexico and on November 24, 2006 in the rest of Latin America and the United States. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and Mexico City, and was produced by Carlos Lara and Armando Ávila. The group also recorded a special version of the album for their fanbase in Brazil. This edition of the album, recorded in Portuguese language, Portuguese, was released on December 4, 2006 and was titled ''Celestial (Versão Brasil)''. In the US, the album reached number one on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Latin Pop Albums chart and Billboard Top Latin Albums, Top Latin Albums chart. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. The ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs (formerly Hot Latin Tracks and Hot Latin 50) is a record chart in the United States for Latin songs, published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Since October 2012, chart rankings are based on digital sales, radio airplay, and online streaming, and only predominantly Spanish language songs are allowed to rank. The chart was established by the magazine on September 6, 1986, and was originally based on airplay on Latin music radio stations. Songs on the chart were not necessarily in Spanish language, since a few songs in English and Portuguese language have also charted.
