Celebrity Treasure Island 2019
''Celebrity Treasure Island 2019'' marked the show's return after a hiatus of more than a decade. Hosted by '' Survivor NZ'' producer and host, Matt Chisholm, as well as ZM radio's Drive host Bree Tomasel. The classic Kiwi game show will have 16 celebrity castaways pair up as they complete challenges for the chance to win $100,000 for their charity of choice in Fiji. The season premiered on Sunday 18 August, 7 pm and continues Monday & Tuesday 7.30 pm, TVNZ 2. This was to be the final show that Matt Chisholm presented with TVNZ. Sam Wallace was the sole Kāhu member left, and the eventual winner, who took $100,000 for Starship Hospital. Starship Hospital
Starship Children's Hospital is a public children's hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. Opened on 18 November 1991, it was one of the first purpose-built children's hospitals in New Zealand, and is the largest such facility in the country. Although a separate facility, it is located on the same grounds as the Auckland City Hospital in Grafton, Auckland, and is adjacent to the Auckland Medical School. On 1 July 2022 Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand and Te Aka Whai Ora – Māori Health Authority became Aotearoa’s new national health authorities and Starship became part of Health New Zealand. Zachary Robert Guildford (born 8 February 1989) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays for Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup. A wing, he has won 11 caps for the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks, including during their victorious 2011 Rugby World Cup campaign. Surf Life Saving New Zealand
Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) is the national association representing 74 Surf Life Saving Clubs in New Zealand. The organisation's motto is 'In it for Life'. This refers to both the long relationship many members have with the organisation, as well as to the organisation's purpose of preventing drowning and injury, thereby saving lives. Specific New Zealand beaches are patrolled by qualified Surf Lifeguards from mid October until April each year. Red and Yellow flags indicate that a beach is patrolled by Surf Lifeguards. The area of water in between these flags is designated as the safest place to swim on the beach, as well as showing where Surf Lifeguards are patrolling. The Hits is a Hot adult contemporary music radio network, broadcasting to 26 markets across New Zealand. Matthew Bruce McLean (born 29 September 1986) is a New Zealand journalist and television presenter. He previously presented ''Breakfast'', and was a ''1 News'' reporter. He has also worked on the television programmes ''Seven Sharp'', ''20/20'' and ''Close Up''. Television In 2007, McLean, aged 20, started working at ''Breakfast''. Karoline Fuarose Park-Tamati (born 7 November 1982), known professionally as Ladi6, is a New Zealand recording artist of Samoan descent. Karl Burnett
Karl Burnett (born 27 February 1976) is a New Zealand actor best known for his portrayal of Nick Harrison on the long-running New Zealand soap opera, '' Shortland Street''. Burnett was 16 years old when offered the role of Nick Harrison on ''Shortland Street'' in 1992. The then Massey High School student had little acting experience, other than high-school drama classes, though after six years of starring on Shortland Street he had a part in the 1998 film ''When Love Comes''. He played the role of Nick Harrison from the show's second episode in 1992 until the character's departure in 2005, making Nick Harrison the original character to stay with the show the longest. Nick Harrison was originally intended as a drug-taking rebel, but after Burnett was cast, the role was developed into a more comedic and clumsy character.
