Cason Cooley
Cason Jay Cooley (born November 28, 1978, in Akron, Ohio) is an American record producer, audio engineer, composer, songwriter, and musician. He was raised in Wichita, Kansas. As a child, Cooley often accompanied his parents, who toured the country as a part of the Cathedral Quartet. In 1997, Cooley moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he became a member of The Normals in 1998. He toured with the band from 1998 until 2002, when the band broke up. Cooley is most recognized for his work as a songwriter and producer, and has worked with artists such as Matthew Perryman Jones, Katie Herzig, and Trent Dabbs. Kansas
Kansas () is a state in the Midwestern United States. Its capital is Topeka, and its largest city is Wichita. The Cathedral Quartet, also known as the Cathedrals, was an American southern gospel quartet who performed from 1964 to December 1999. The group's final lineup consisted of Glen Payne (lead), George Younce (bass), Ernie Haase (tenor), Scott Fowler (baritone and bass guitar), and Roger Bennett (piano and rhythm guitar). The Normals were a Christian alternative rock band formed in 1998 by Andrew Osenga, Mark Lockett, and Clayton Daily. The name of the band honors their hometown of Normal, Illinois. Matthew Perryman Jones (born 1973) is an American singer and songwriter. Career Jones began his music career in 1997, playing his first public performances at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Georgia. In 2000, Jones issued his first solo release, ''Nowhere Else but Here'', after moving to Nashville to pursue music full-time. In 2006, he released the album ''Throwing Punches in the Dark''. Produced by Neilson Hubbard, the album was a departure from his folk/Americana sound, instead moving toward pop rock. Katie Herzig is an American singer-songwriter whose songs have appeared often in movies, TV shows, and commercials. Personal life Katie Herzig was born in California to a musical family. When she was one year old, her family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where she attended Rocky Mountain High School. Her sister sang opera. Herzig studied voice and played percussion in band and orchestra. In her senior year, she got an acoustic guitar from her father, which prompted her to begin playing the instrument.
