Casemiro Mior
Casemiro Mior is a Brazilian football manager and former footballer. During his career as a footballer, he played for Grêmio, Internacional and Internacional de Limeira. He was infamously sent off in the 1989 Grenal of the Century while he was playing with Internacional against Gremio. In 2002, Mior was appointed to be the head coach of Hong Kong. He coached C.D. Nacional of Portugal for two seasons, from 2003-2005. After that, he returned to his native Brazil to coach CA Paranaense and Avaí FC. In 2007, Mior was appointed to be the head coach of Hong Kong League XI to compete in 2007 Lunar New Year Cup. The team finished last after losing both matches after penalty shootout. Penalty Shootout (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. The Hong Kong League XI, also known as the Hong Kong XI or Hong Kong League Selection, is a football team which represents the Hong Kong First Division League in exhibition matches, mainly the Lunar New Year Cup. The team is selected from the top players in the Hong Kong First Division League. Both Hong Kong and foreign players, including those from mainland China, can be included in the team. However, as the quality of local players is usually lower, it has been often that most of the outfield players are foreigners. In recent years, to order to enable local footballers to gain more international experience, the Hong Kong Football Association has fielded the Hong Kong national football team in matches which were previously played by the Hong Kong League XI. Avaí Futebol Clube () is a Brazilian football team from Florianópolis in Santa Catarina, founded on 1 September 1923. Their home stadium is Estádio Aderbal Ramos da Silva, also known as Ressacada, with a capacity of 17,800. They play in blue and white shirts, shorts and socks.
