Casablanca–Marrakesh Expressway
The Casablanca–Marrakesh (or Marrakech) expressway is an expressway in Morocco. It has been designated A3 as its identity marker. Total length is 220 km: 17 km Casablanca (city), Casablanca bypass, 57 km Casablanca-Settat and 146 km Settat-Marrakesh The Controlled-access highway, expressway takes its origins south of the residential area of Casablanca, at the interchange with the A1 Casablanca bypass. It continues south past Bouskoura and serves the Mohammed V International Airport, Mohamed V airport with an exit. A toll station is placed just south of there. The road then circumvales the town of Berrechid serving it with an exit north of it for south-bound traffic and one south of it for north-bound traffic. The road was opened in 2002 to Settat, and construction on the remaining part started in 2003 reaching Marrakesh in 2007. In 2005 the 17 km bypass of Settat opened. Settat
Settat ( ar, سطات, siṭṭāt, ber, ⵥⴻⵟⵟⴰⵜ, ẓeṭṭat) is a city in Morocco between the national capital Rabat and Marrakesh. Settat is located by road south of the centre of Casablanca, roughly an hour's drive. It is the capital of Settat Province and is its largest city in both size and population. According to the 2014 Moroccan census, it had a population of 142,250 people, up from 116,570 people in the 2004 census. Settat is above sea level, built on a plateau surrounded by foothills in all directions. Marrakesh
Marrakesh or Marrakech ( or ; ar, مراكش, murrākuš, ; ber, ⵎⵕⵕⴰⴽⵛ, translit=mṛṛakc}) is the fourth largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco. It is one of the four Imperial cities of Morocco and is the capital of the Marrakesh-Safi region. The city is situated west of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Société Nationale Des Autoroutes Du Maroc
The Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) is Morocco's national authority for the management of over 1400+ km of Moroccan expressways. ADM is based in Rabat.
