Óscar Armando Díaz de León Huez, known professionally as Carín León, (born 26 July 1989) is a Mexicans, Mexican singer-songwriter who specializes in Regional Mexican, regional Mexican music. Career León first began playing the guitar at the age of 15. His first band was Los Reales, before founding Grupo Arranke with four friends in 2010. The group gained traction with their song "A Través del Vaso". He was a member of Grupo Arranke for seven years, until deciding to start a solo career in 2018. His career took off with his solo version of "A Través del Vaso". His other songs "Me La Avente" and "Tú (Noelia song), Tú", a cover of the 1999 song by Noelia, both have charted on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs, Latin Airplay, and Regional Mexican Airplay charts. Hermosillo (), formerly called Pitic (as in ''Santísima Trinidad del Pitic'' and ''Presidio del Pitic''), is a city located in the center of the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. The Latin Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Song is an honor presented annually at the Latin Grammy Awards, a ceremony that recognizes excellence and creates a wider awareness of cultural diversity and contributions of Latin recording artists in the United States and internationally. The award is reserved to the songwriters of a new song containing at least 51% of the lyrics in Spanish. Instrumental recordings or cover songs are not eligible. Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of '' All Songs Considered'' host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. The first Tiny Desk Concert came about in 2008 after Boilen and NPR Music editor Stephen Thompson left South by Southwest frustrated that they couldn't hear the music over the crowd noise. Thompson joked that the musician, folk singer Laura Gibson, should just perform at Boilen's desk. A month later Boilen arranged for her to do just that, making an impromptu recording and posting it online. The name is taken from Boilen's 1970s psychedelic dance band called Tiny Desk Unit. "More Than Words" is a song by American rock band Extreme, released as the fifth track and third single from their second album, ''Pornograffitti'' (1990), in March 1991.
