Carrasco Province, Cochabamba
Carrasco is a province in the Cochabamba Department in central Bolivia. Its capital is Totora. Geography Some of the highest mountains of the province are listed below: Subdivision Carrasco Province is divided into six municipalities which are further subdivided into cantons. Entre Ríos Municipality was created in 2004. The people The people are predominantly indigenous citizens of Quechuan descent. Carrasco Polo Club
Carrasco Polo Club is a Uruguayan sports club from the Carrasco, Montevideo, Carrasco neighbourhood of Montevideo. Its name references directly the polo team and the fact that Carrasco has one of Uruguay's leading equestrian centres. Apart from polo, the club hosts a large variety of sports, such as equitation, field hockey, association football, football, rugby union and tennis. San José de Carrasco is a residential neighbourhood and resort of Ciudad de la Costa in Canelones, Uruguay. Location This resort is located on the western area of Ciudad de la Costa, between the kilometers 20 and 21 on the Avenida Luis Giannattasio ( Giannattasio Avenue) from the centre of Montevideo. Paso de Carrasco or Paso Carrasco is a city in the Canelones Department of Uruguay. Paso Carrasco is also the name of the municipality to which the city belongs and which includes also Barra de Carrasco and the area of the International Airport. Location The city is located on Route 106 (Camino Carrasco), east of the stream Arroyo Carrasco. Across this stream it borders the Montevideo Department, to the southeast it borders the Ciudad de la Costa, while to the northeast is the Carrasco International Airport. Carrasco National Park
Carrasco National Park is a national park in Cochabamba Department, Bolivia. It has a surface area of 6,226 square kilometers. More than 5,000 plant species have been registered in the area, placing the park among Bolivia's most biologically diverse. It is a protected area and people are prohibited from living inside the park. It was created on October 11, 1991. The park is a mountainous landscape of rivers, waterfalls, gentle valleys and deep canyons. It protects part of the Bolivian Yungas ecoregion. Carrasco International Airport
Carrasco/General Cesáreo L. Berisso International Airport is the main international airport of Uruguay. It is the country's largest airport and is located in the Carrasco neighborhood of Montevideo. It has been cited as one of the most efficient and traveler-friendly airports in Latin America. The airport is named after Cesáreo L. Berisso, a pioneer of Uruguayan aviation, and it also hosts an air base of the Uruguayan Air Force. History The original passenger terminal was inaugurated in 1947. Carrasco is a ''barrio'' (neighbourhood or district) in Montevideo, Uruguay. Located on the city's southeast coast, the barrio was originally an elegant seaside resort. However, it eventually became the city's most exclusive suburb. Carrasco is regarded as one of the most expensive barrios in Montevideo, and features a wide range of architectural styles.
