Carolina Martene Miranda Morais a.k.a. Carol (born April 13, 1986) is a team handball player from Angola. She plays on the Angola women's national handball team, and participated at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. At club level, she plays for Norwegian side Vipers Kristiansand, having previously played for Primeiro de Agosto. REMA 1000-ligaen is the premier women's professional handball league for Norwegian handball clubs. It is administered by the Norwegian Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Norwegian champions. It was established in 1968, and it is currently contested by thirteen teams. The 2018–19 Women's EHF Champions League was the 26th edition of the Women's EHF Champions League, the competition for top women's clubs of Europe, organized and supervised by the European Handball Federation. Győri ETO defended their title by defeating Rostov-Don 25–24 in the final, to win their fifth overall and third straight title. The 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League was the 28th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from 12 September 2020 to 30 May 2021. There was no defending champion, after the season before was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vipers Kristiansand defeated Brest Bretagne Handball to win their first title. Because of this pandemic, each local health department allowed a different number of spectators. Format The competition began with a group stage featuring 16 teams divided in two groups. Matches were played in a double round-robin system with home-and-away fixtures.
