Carola Reyna
Carola Reyna (born 15 April 1962) is an Argentine actress and director from Buenos Aires. She has won the ACE Award and the Martin Fierro Awards five times. Biography Daughter of TV Producer Eduardo Reyna, she grew up in Argentina, Spain and Venezuela. She studied theatre with Carlos Moreno, Augusto Fernandes, Juan Carlos Gené and Carlos Gandolfo during 1983 to 1986. Made her debut in the 1980s with Noël Coward's ''Hay Fever'' directed by China Zorrilla and Anton Chekhov's ''The Seagull'' at the Teatro San Martín. She is married to actor Boy Olmi since 1994. ''Los simuladores'' ( en, The Pretenders) is an Argentine television series about a small team of con artists for hire, who use their skills to solve common people's life problems. The show ran for two seasons, from 2002 to 2004. It was very popular and highly acclaimed, winning a Golden Martín Fierro Award. A number of remakes have been produced for various markets worldwide. The original series was produced and aired by the Argentine network Telefé, and ran for two seasons (the first one with 13 episodes and the last one with 11) in 2002 and 2003. The series is occasionally shown in reruns on Telefé. Remakes were soon produced in Chile and in Spain (the latter produced by Cuatro), using some of the same actors and production members. ''Gasoleros'' is an Argentine telenovela issued between 1998 and 1999 by Canal 13. It aired at 9:00 p.m. during prime time, Monday through Friday. It was produced by Pol-ka and the original idea was from Adrián Suar. The musical theme of the introduction is ''Gasolero'' from Vicentico. Plot The story is based on the daily life of the Panigasi family, an impoverished middle class family.
