Carlos Alvarado (footballer, Born 1949)
Carlos Alvarado (12 May 1949 – 16 February 2016) was a Honduran footballer who played as a striker. Alvarado is often considered by many the greatest C.D.S. Vida footballer of all times. Club career Alvarado is C.D.S. Vida's all-time top scorer with 76 goals. He made his professional debut on 15 May 1968 in the 1–4 defeat against C.D. Victoria where he scored the sole Vida's goal. He has the shared record of scoring five goals in a single game against C.D. Troya in 1967. In 1972, he became the first Liga Nacional player to win the top-scorer award twice. Alvarado also played for Club Deportivo Olimpia before retiring. Personal life Alvarado was born in Langue and raised in Nacaome. In 2012, he had a heart attack from which he recovered. Langue
Langue is a municipality in the Valle Department, Honduras. The town is located near the border of El Salvador and is a regional Hammock making center. Most of the town is made up of sharecroppers and day laborers. There are usually Mormon missionaries and Peace Corps volunteers in the city. There is a lot of cattle raised on the flat areas of town. The town has suffered greatly from deforestation and drought. The town's technical school "Instituto Tecnico John F. Kennedy" was built by the Peace Corps. The municipality has an official population of over 25,000, most of whom live in the surrounding villages. The main town has a moderate sized market that expands greatly on Sundays when villagers come to town to sell crops or goods. Also is the town in which population has the best transportation in the south zone of Honduras. A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to the coronary artery of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck or jaw. Often it occurs in the center or left side of the chest and lasts for more than a few minutes. The discomfort may occasionally feel like heartburn. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, feeling faint, a cold sweat or feeling tired. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. Nacaome
Nacaome, with a population of 19,990 (2020 calculation), is the capital city of the Valle department of Honduras and the municipal seat of Nacaome Municipality. It is a manufacturing and commercial center located on the banks of the Nacaome River. Nacaome is an old city founded when aboriginal Cholulas and Chaparrastiques, tired of fighting each other, thought it best to join together to build new houses in the middle of their territory on the west side of the Chapulapa River (the aboriginal name of the Nacaome River).
