Carita Pintada
''Carita Pintada'' is a Venezuelan telenovela written by Valentina Párraga and produced by Radio Caracas Televisión in 1999. The series lasted 126 episodes and was distributed internationally by RCTV International. Catherine Correia and Simón Pestana starred as the main protagonists (with Simón playing a dual role as both protagonist and antagonist) with Marlene De Andrade, Eliana López and Fernando Flores as the villains. Synopsis The birth of the stunningly beautiful Aurora Pabuena is shrouded in mystery, and her life becomes a confusing maze of inexplicable deception, jealousy and danger. Left on the steps of the Church of San Rafael de la Peña, the infant Aurora is found by and taken under the loving wing of the delightful Candelaria, who happily raises Aurora as her own. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) was a Venezuelan free-to-air television network headquartered in the Caracas neighborhood of Quinta Crespo. It was sometimes referred to as the Canal de Bárcenas. Owned by Empresas 1BC, Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) was inaugurated on 15 November 1953 by William H. Phelps Jr., William H. Carlos Olivier
Carlos Olivier (''Carlos Raúl Fernández Olivier'') (26 January 195222 January 2007), was a Venezuelan actor, famous for his roles in telenovelas, including ''Leonela'', ''El País de las Mujeres'', ''Viva la Pepa'', '' Las González'', ''Engañada'', and ''Los Querendones''. Olivier was a member of the Factory of Young Actors of RCTV. Flavio Caballero is a Venezuelann actor. He is a native of Cartagena. Biography Flavio Caballero grew up with two childhood dreams: he wanted to become both a psychologist and an actor.
