''Capital'' () is a weekly newspaper in Bulgaria. The first issue of Capital was put out in 1993. A redesign in 2006 has left the main body of the newspaper structured into four parts. Various business-to-business events are organized under the Capital brand. History and profile ''Capital'' was established in 1993. As of 2002, ''Capital'' was part of Georg von Holtzbrinck Publishing Group who owned part of the Economedia publishing company. Ivo Prokopiev
Ivo Prokopiev (; born July 10, 1971) is a Bulgarian entrepreneur and publisher. He is the founder and co-owner of Bulgarian holding companies Alfa Finance Holding and Renalfa. He also co-owns the Economedia publishing group, internationally regarded as among the highest‑quality and most independent journalistic outlets in Bulgaria. Prokopiev holds a master's degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. Sofia
Sofia is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Bulgaria, largest city of Bulgaria.
