Can't Get Enuff
"Can't Get Enuff" is a single by American rock band Winger, from their album ''In the Heart of the Young''. Written by frontman Kip Winger and guitarist Reb Beach, "Can't Get Enuff" was the first single from the band's second album, debuting on the U.S. charts in July 1990. The song's music video, directed by Michael Bay, received heavy rotation at MTV and the up-tempo rocker was Winger's most successful track at rock radio, where it peaked at #6 on the '' Billboard'' Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song was also a moderate pop hit, narrowly missing the Top 40 to peak at #42 on the Hot 100 at the end of September. During this single's chart run, the album ''In the Heart of the Young'' was certified Gold by the RIAA. According to Kip Winger, the song was a late addition to the track listing, written because it was felt that there were not enough rock songs on the album. " Easy Come Easy Go" came about the same way. In 2007, two more versions of the song were release ...

Winger (band)
Winger is an American heavy metal band that has combined elements of glam metal and progressive metal. Formed in New York City, Winger gained popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's two platinum albums, '' Winger'', and '' In the Heart of the Young'', along with charting singles " Seventeen", "Headed for a Heartbreak" and " Miles Away", put them on the top of the charts by the early 1990s. In 1990, the band was nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band". As the music scene changed in the early to mid-1990s due to the popularity of grunge, their success faded following their third release, ''Pull''. Winger disbanded in 1994. In 2001 they reunited and have since conducted several successful tours. In 2006, the band's 1993 touring line-up (minus Paul Taylor but including John Roth) reunited to record the band's first studio album in over 13 years, '' IV'', and toured in support of the album into 2008. In 2009, the band released th ...

Hal Leonard Corporation, 2008p. 6. The 50- and 60-position charts ranked airplay on album rock radio stations in the United States. Because album-oriented rock stations focused on playing tracks from albums rather than specifically released singles, these charts were designed to measure the airplay of any and all tracks from an album. Rock Albums was a survey of the top albums on American rock rad ...

The Very Best Of Winger
''The Very Best of Winger '' is a compilation album of material from the American rock band Winger, released by the label Atlantic Records and the company Rhino Entertainment in October 2001. Most of the songs on the album were collected from the first three Winger studio albums: '' Winger'' (1988), ''In the Heart of the Young'' (1990) and ''Pull'' (1993). However, one new recording called "On the Inside" was featured, and a Japanese bonus track from the ''Pull'' album called "Hell to Pay" also was included. According to Kip Winger, "On the Inside" was a leftover riff from the ''Pull'' sessions that he and Reb Beach worked into a complete song for the release of this compilation. Paradoxically, the album has a track listing essentially in reverse chronological order, with the more recently finished the song the earlier it appears. Reviews Music critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine lauded the release for the publication Allmusic, stating that it proved that the group has had "some ...

Metal Sludge
A metal (from Greek μέταλλον ''métallon'', "mine, quarry, metal") is a material that, when freshly prepared, polished, or fractured, shows a lustrous appearance, and conducts electricity and heat relatively well. Metals are typically ductile (can be drawn into wires) and malleable (they can be hammered into thin sheets). These properties are the result of the ''metallic bond'' between the atoms or molecules of the metal. A metal may be a chemical element such as iron; an alloy such as stainless steel; or a molecular compound such as polymeric sulfur nitride. In physics, a metal is generally regarded as any substance capable of conducting electricity at a temperature of absolute zero. Many elements and compounds that are not normally classified as metals become metallic under high pressures. For example, the nonmetal iodine gradually becomes a metal at a pressure of between 40 and 170 thousand times atmospheric pressure. Equally, some materials regarded as metals c ...
