The Province of Frosinone ( it, Provincia di Frosinone) is a province in the Lazio region of Italy, with 91 ''comuni'' (singular: ''comune''; see Comuni of the Province of Frosinone). Its capital is the city of Frosinone. It has an area of and a total population of 493,605 (2016). The Province was established by Royal Decree on 6 December 1926 with territories belonging to the then provinces of Rome and Caserta. Pescasseroli (, Marsicano: '', '') is a town and ''comune'' in the province of L'Aquila, in Southern Abruzzo, central Italy. A summer and winter resort, it is also the location of the Abruzzo National Park, nestled in the heart of the Monti Marsicani. In 1866, the philosopher Benedetto Croce was born there.
