Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie (born 21 January 1994) known by the stage name Camidoh is a Ghanaian Afropop, R&B and Afrobeats songwriter and musician. Early life and education Camidoh was born in Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana and raised by a single mother in Ho, the capital of Volta Region, Ghana. From 2008 to 2012 Camidoh obtained his secondary education from Bishop Herman College, where he majored in General Arts. He furthered his education at the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghana, graduating with Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Career In 2018 Camidoh was signed by Grind Don't Stop Records. In that same year, Camidoh released his first single titled ''For My Lover'' which featured ''Darkovibes.'' Sugarcane (Camidoh Song)
"Sugarcane" is a song by Ghanaian singer and songwriter Camidoh, featuring the Nigerian record producer Phantom, released in 2021 by Grind Don't Stop Records, through Crux Global, and MOVES Recordings. A remix, with Mayorkun, and Darkoo, featuring the Ghanaian singer King Promise, was released in 2022. The song gained popularity across TikTok, following the release of the remix. In 2022 the remixed version debuted at number 16 in Nigeria, on the TurnTable Top 50 chart on 9 May, and reached number 4 on 18 May. It also debuted at number 20 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart on 1 May, and reached number 12 on 8 May. It debuted at number 18 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs on the week of May 21. The 5th 3Music Awards was held on 26 March 2022 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, in Accra to recognize the works of artists in the year under review. It was broadcast by TV3, 3MUSIC TV, DGN and HD +. The ceremony's theme was ''''More Than Music'''', and was held in-person with an audience following the previous year's virtual ceremony. The nominees were announced on 15 February 2022 during a ceremony at the Teelande Tea Garden in Accra, Ghana. Kuami Eugene received the most nominations with 16, followed by Sarkodie who had 13 and KiDi who received 10 nominations. On 14 March, Boomplay was announced as an official partner of the awards. Eugene Entsir, professionally known as Eugy, is a Ghanaian, British singer, rapper, and songwriter. He is best known for his 2016 International hit single "Dance For Me" alongside Mr Eazi, which led to a 2017 MOBO Awards nomination. Aflao is a town in Ketu South District in the Volta Region on Ghana's border with Togo. Aflao is the twenty-eighth most populous settlement in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 96,550 people.
