Cameron Mitchell (born Cameron McDowell Mitzell; November 4, 1918 – July 6, 1994) was an American film, television, and stage actor. He began his career on Broadway before entering films in the 1950s, appearing in several major features. Late in his career, he became known for his roles in numerous exploitation films in the 1970s and 1980s. Mitchell began acting on Broadway in the late 1930s before signing a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and appearing in such films as '' Cass Timberlane'' (1945) and ''Homecoming'' (1948). He subsequently originated the role of Happy Loman in the Broadway production of Arthur Miller's ''Death of a Salesman'' (1949), a role he reprised in the 1951 film adaptation. With 20th Century Fox, he appeared in ''How to Marry a Millionaire'' (1953). Robert Cameron Mitchell (born February 15, 1990), professionally credited as Cameron Mitchell, is an American singer-songwriter from Colleyville, Texas. He is best known for his role on the singing competition '' The Glee Project''. Mitchell received attention for choosing to leave the competition, then returning to win the Bing Fan Favorite at the end of the season. Mitchell says he has been influenced by John Mayer and especially The Beatles. ''The Glee Project'' Mitchell was introduced on the debut season of the Oxygen reality series '' The Glee Project'', He was chosen to be in the Top 12 after making it through the Fort Worth, Texas auditions in January 2011. Cameron Mitchell (born September 8, 2001) is an American professional football cornerback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Northwestern. Early life Mitchell grew up in Bolingbrook, Illinois and attended Bolingbrook High School. College career Mitchell played in four games during his true freshman season at Northwestern before redshirting. Colonel Cameron "Cam" Mitchell, USAF is a fictional character in the 1997 American military science fiction television series ''Stargate SG-1'', a science fiction show about a military team exploring the galaxy via a network of alien transportation devices. The group's Ocean Prime concept opened in Troy, Michigan in June 2008 and has locations in Columbus, (under the name Mitchell's Ocean Club), and in thirteen other cities across the United States. The company also manages and co-owns a sister company, Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern.
