Cambio de Piel (English title:Change of skin) is a Venezuelan telenovela produced by Radio Caracas Televisión in 1998 based on the telenovela '' La dama de rosa'' written by José Ignacio Cabrujas in 1986. This version was created by Perla Farías and lasted for 110 episodes. Synopsis Daniella Martínez and José Ignacio Quintana lead radically different lives. He is financially solid, competent and married. His marriage is stable with no alarming events in spite of his infidelities. Unfortunately, his wife has not been able to bear children. Daniella is a young, impetuous woman, who is very astute, determined and joyful and whose lifelong dream is to become an actress. In her search for stardom, she meets José Ignacio Quintana, and a strong attraction grows between them immediately. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. América Alonso
María Golajovski Zaira (4 December 1936 – 14 May 2022), better known as América Alonso, was a Venezuelan actress. She had an artistic career of more than four decades, acting in Telenovela, telenovelas, theater and films. Career She was the only child of immigrants of the Russian Revolution, an opera singer and an industrial engineer. During World War II and the Invasion of Yugoslavia, Nazi invasion of the country, she and her family were interned in a concentration camp. Her father died before she was seven years old. In 1948 she emigrated to Venezuela, where she attended elementary school at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe School in Sabana Grande, Caracas. RCTV Telenovelas
Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) was a Venezuelan free-to-air television network headquartered in the Caracas neighborhood of Quinta Crespo. It was sometimes referred to as the Canal de Bárcenas. Owned by Empresas 1BC, Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) was inaugurated on 15 November 1953 by William H. Phelps, Jr. Its radio counterpart was Radio Caracas Radio.
