Cam Clark
Cameron Clark (born 20 March 1993), commonly referred to as Cam, is an Australian rugby player currently with the San Diego Legion of the Major League Rugby (MLR). His regular playing positions are Wing, Centre and Fullback. Clark is a former rugby sevens player having represented Australia at the World Rugby Sevens Series (2012–2016), 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens, 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Clark has been with the Waratahs since 2017, playing mostly as centre and wing. Personal life Clark was born in Auckland, New Zealand to an Australian father, Greg, and a New Zealand mother. 2012 Wellington Sevens
The 2012 Wellington Sevens was part of the 2011–12 IRB Sevens World Series and was the 13th edition of the tournament, hosted at Wellington, New Zealand's Westpac Stadium. New Zealand won the title by defeating Fiji 24–7 in the final. Format The teams were divided into pools of four teams, who played a round-robin within the pool. The men's rugby sevens tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics was held in Brazil. It was hosted at the Deodoro Stadium, a temporary outdoor stadium constructed as part of the Deodoro Modern Pentathlon Park in Rio de Janeiro. The tournament was held from 9 August to 11 August 2016, starting with group matches before finishing with the medal ceremony on 11 August. World Rugby Sevens Series
The World Rugby Men's Sevens Series is an annual series of international rugby sevens tournaments run by World Rugby featuring national sevens teams. Organised for the first time in the 1999–2000 season as the IRB World Sevens Series, the competition was formed to promote an elite-level of international rugby sevens and develop the game into a viable commercial product. The competition has been sponsored by banking group HSBC since 2014. The season's circuit consists of 10 tournaments that generally begin in November or December and last until May. The venues are held across 10 countries, and visits five of the six populated continents.
