Cally is a fictional character from the British science fiction television series ''Blake's 7'', played by Jan Chappell from 1978 to 1981. She is the titular subject of an audio drama released in August 2009. Development It was originally intended that Cally would wear black contact lenses to make her look more alien. Jonathan Bignell and Andrew O'Day write that "Cally (Jan Chappell), conceived much later as an alien from the planet Saurian Major (Stevens and Moore 2003: 19), is introduced in the fourth episode 'Time Squad'. Cally-Jo Pothecary (born 20 April 1989) is a British fine artist and tattoo artist. Early life Cally-Jo was born on 20 April 1989 in Southampton, the United Kingdom and grew up in Shirley, London. She studied fine art painting at Winchester School of Art, and graduated in 2011. Cally-Jo began to tattoo in 2012. Career In 2012 Cally-Jo was offered a job at Love Hate Social Club, London. Cally Kwong Mei-wan (born 24 December 1962) is a Hong Kong singer, actress, and business woman. Early life Kwong was born Cally Kwong Mei Wan on 24 December 1962 in British Hong Kong. Ragnhild Caroline Monrad (31 July 1879, Gran, Oppland – 23 February 1950) was a Norwegian singer, actress and poet. She studied singing in Dresden, stayed in Berlin for a long time, toured with Edvard Grieg, performed for King Oscar II, Haakon VII and Emperor William II. She was a very popular opera singer in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. She ended up as a member of the Nazi Party Nasjonal Samling, and was theatre director at Det Norske Teatret from 1942 to 1945, during the German occupation of Norway. Pierre Cally (25 September 1630 – 31 December 1709) was a French Catholic Cartesian philosopher and theologian. Life He was born at Mesnil-Hubert near Argentan, now Orne, France. In 1660 he was appointed professor of philosophy and eloquence in the University of Caen, and in 1675, president of the Collège des Arts in the same city. In 1684 he assumed charge of the parish of Saint-Martin. He was an associate of Pierre Daniel Huet, who converted him to Cartesianism, and Jean Renaud de Segrais. Cally died 31 December 1709. Caledonian Road passes for about a mile and a half north–south through the London Borough of Islington. It connects North London, from Camden Road near its junction with Holloway Road, and central London's Pentonville Road in the south. It is known colloquially as the "Cally" and forms the entirety of the A5203. Character The road is mostly residential from Camden Road until it reaches Caledonian Road Underground station.
