''Calle 7'' was a Chilean television program, shown by TVN from Monday to Friday at 6 pm. It was last co-hosted by Alain Soulat and Lucia Covarrubias, and involved two teams of young adult contenders participating in unique challenges and performing arts to win a top prize at the end of the competition. Early months ''Calle 7'' began airing on January 12, 2009, at 6 pm and was presented by Martín Cárcamo and Karen Doggenweiler. The program was aimed at youth and family area where a group of participants known as "Team Calle 7" danced and competed in several tests, where the winning team gave $100,000 Chilean pesos to a viewer. Canal 13 (Chile)
Canal 13 is a Chilean free-to-air television channel. It was launched on 21 August 1959, on VHF channel 2 of Santiago, in a broadcast led by a group of engineers from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Subsequently, the TV station moved its frequency to VHF channel 13, which gave rise to its current name. The 2010 Chile earthquake and tsunami ( es, Terremoto del 27F) occurred off the coast of central Chile on Saturday, 27 February at 03:34 local time (06:34 UTC), having a magnitude of 8.8 on the moment magnitude scale, with intense shaking lasting for about three minutes. It was felt strongly in six Chilean regions (from Valparaíso in the north to Araucanía in the south) that together make up about 80 percent of the country's population. The teams, yellow and red, were divided into new and old contestants, respectively. Juan Carlos Palma and Federico Koch, known contestants who had previously left the competition, joined the yellow team (the new participants' team). Fernanda Gallardo, who competed in seasons five and six, joined the red team (the known contestants' team). Like the first two seasons, the system of the competition is individual.
