Call My Name (album)
''Call My Name'' is the sixth studio album by American blues artist, Etta James. The album was produced by Leonard Chess and released on Cadet Records in 1967. ''Call My Name'' was the second of a series of albums James would release that mainly consisted on Soul music. It included one song that charted on Rhythm and Blues chart, "I Prefer You," that reached #42. The other two singles spawned from the release ("Don't Pick Me for Your Fool" and "Call My Name") did not chart, becoming James's first album that did not release a Top 40 single. Allmusic gave the album four out of five stars, calling the tracks, "I'm So Glad (I Found Love in You)," "It Must Be Your Love," and "Don't Pick Me for Your Fool" as "standouts." The album was released on a 12-inch vinyl LP record, consisting of twelve tracks, with six songs on each side of the album. Etta James
Jamesetta Hawkins (January 25, 1938 – January 20, 2012), known professionally as Etta James, was an American singer who performed in various genres, including gospel, blues, jazz, R&B, rock and roll, and soul. Starting her career in 1954, she gained fame with hits such as " The Wallflower", "At Last", "Tell Mama", "Something's Got a Hold on Me", and "I'd Rather Go Blind". She faced a number of personal problems, including heroin addiction, severe physical abuse, and incarceration, before making a musical comeback in the late 1980s with the album '' Seven Year Itch''. James's deep and earthy voice bridged the gap between rhythm and blues and rock and roll. She won six Grammy Awards and 17 Blues Music Awards. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999, and the Blues Hall of Fame in 2001.

"That's All I Want from You" is a popular song by Fritz Rotter (writing as "M. Rotha"), published in 1955. The song was recorded by a number of artists, but became a major hit for Jaye P. Jimmie Davis
James Houston Davis (September 11, 1899 – November 5, 2000) was an American politician, singer and songwriter of both sacred and popular songs. Davis was elected for two nonconsecutive terms from 1944 to 1948 and from 1960 to 1964 as the governor of his native Louisiana. As Governor, Davis was an opponent of efforts to desegregate Louisiana. Davis was a nationally popular country music and gospel singer from the 1930s into the 1960s, occasionally recording and performing as late as the early 1990s. Milton Bland (October 3, 1930 – July 3, 1986) better known as Monk Higgins, was an American musician and saxophonist who was born in Menifee, Arkansas.
