Calixte Delmas
Calixte Delmas (17 June 1906 – 7 April 1927) was a French wrestler and rugby player. He competed in the freestyle featherweight event at the 1924 Summer Olympics. In 1922, he was the wrestling champion of Paris and the Greco-Roman vice-champion of France at 15. In 1924 he was the national champion and the youngest participant at the 1924 Olympics in Paris, where he reached the quarter finals. He died from an accident at the military school in Joinville-le-Pont. He fell from a human pyramid and broke his neck. Perpignan

Joinville-le-Pont () is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris. History The commune was created in 1791 under the name La Branche-du-Pont-de-Saint-Maur (literally "The Branch of Saint-Maur's Bridge") by detaching its territory from the commune of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. The 1924 Summer Olympics (french: Jeux olympiques d'été de 1924), officially the Games of the VIII Olympiad (french: Jeux de la VIIIe olympiade) and also known as Paris 1924, were an international multi-sport event held in Paris, France. The opening ceremony was held on 5 July, but some competitions had already started on 4 May. The Games were the second to be hosted by Paris (after 1900), making it the first city to host the Olympics twice. Raymond Sudre (1870-1962) was a French sculptor. Early life Raymond Sudre was born on October 29, 1870, in Perpignan, France. He was tutored by sculptors Antonin Mercié and Alexandre Falguière. Career Sudre was a sculptor. He designed a bust of the Count of Blossac in the Blossac Park in Poitiers. He also designed the World War I memorial in Ille-sur-Têt.
