Loddon Valley Highway
The Loddon Valley Highway runs roughly north-west from Bendigo to Kerang on the Murray Valley Highway. It constitutes part of the direct route from Melbourne to the popular Murray River holiday areas around Swan Hill. Route Loddon Valley Highway starts at the intersection with Murray Valley Highway just south of the fringes of Kerang, and runs south as a dual-lane single-carriageway road, running parallel to the Loddon River a short distance to the west of the road for much of its length. State Route 260 (SR 260) is a state highway in southeastern Ohio. The route runs from SR 7 in Matamoras to SR 78 near East Union. Route description The route is signed as a north–south highway though it runs northwest–southeast between Matamoras and East Union. No part of the route is a part of the National Highway System. History SR 260 was first assigned around 1926 on its present alignment between SR 145 in Road Fork to SR 78 near East Union, entirely in Noble County. SR 245 was signed on the present SR 260 route between Matamoras and Bloomfield at SR 26 as well; the section between SR 26 and SR 145 was not a part of the state highway system at the time. Maryland Route 260
Maryland Route 260 (MD 260) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. Known as Chesapeake Beach Road, the highway runs from MD 4 at Lyons Creek east to MD 261 in Chesapeake Beach. MD 260 connects the twin towns of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach in northern Calvert County with highways to Upper Marlboro, Washington, Annapolis, and Baltimore. Much of the highway follows part of the course of the former Chesapeake Beach Railway, which ended service in the mid-1930s. MD 260 was constructed in the early 1920s from MD 2 south of Owings east to Chesapeake Beach. The highway was extended west to what is now MD 4 south of Dunkirk in the early 1930s. MD 260 was relocated to a road built on the railroad right-of-way from Lyons Creek through Owings in the mid-1950s.
