DeKalb County (, , ) is located in the north central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 764,382, making it Georgia's fourth-most populous county. State Route 42 (SR 42) is a state highway that runs southeast-to-northwest through portions of Peach, Crawford, Monroe, Butts, Henry, Clayton, and DeKalb counties in the central and north-central parts of the U.S. state of Georgia. The route connects Byron with the Atlanta metropolitan area, via Forsyth, McDonough, and Forest Park. Route description SR 42 begins at an intersection with SR 49/ SR 540 (Peach Parkway) in Byron, in Peach County. The City of Merri-bek is a local government area in metropolitan Melbourne, Australia. It comprises the inner northern suburbs between 4 and 11 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD.
