Cale Morris
Christopher Cale Morris (born May 22, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL). Following success in the United States Hockey League with the Chicago Steel and Waterloo Black Hawks, Morris joined the University of Notre Dame in the Big Ten Conference (B1G). During the 2017–18 season, he was awarded the Mike Richter Award as the most outstanding goaltender in Division I NCAA men's ice hockey, Big Ten Goaltender of the Year and Big-Ten Player of the Year as he led Notre Dame to the 2018 NCAA National Championship Finals. He was also selected for the AHCA First Team All-American, All-Big Ten First Team, and named a Hobey Baker Award finalist. Larkspur, Colorado
Larkspur is a home rule municipality in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 183 at the 2010 census, down from 234 at the 2000 census. Each year, on weekends in June and July, the Colorado Renaissance Festival is held in the hills just west of the town. Each team is composed of at least one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards on ice hockey programs. Save percentage (often known by such symbols as SV%, SVS%, SVP, PCT) is a statistic in various goal-scoring sports that track saves as a statistic. In ice hockey and lacrosse, it is a statistic that represents the percentage of shots on goal a goaltender stops. It is calculated by dividing the number of saves by the total number of shots on goal. Although the statistic is called a "percentage", it is often given as a decimal, in the same way as a batting average in baseball. Thus, .933 means a goaltender saved 93.3 percent of all shots they faced. In international ice hockey, a save percentage is expressed as a true percentage, such as 90%. Goals against average (GAA) also known as "average goals against" or "AGA" is a statistic used in field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and water polo that is the mean of goals allowed per game by a goaltender or goalkeeper (depending on sport). GAA is analogous to a baseball pitcher's earned run average (ERA). In Japanese, the same translation (防御率) is used for both GAA and ERA, because of this. For ice hockey, the goals against average statistic is the number of goals a goaltender allows per 60 minutes of playing time. It is calculated by taking the number of goals against, multiply that by 60 (minutes) and then dividing by the number of minutes played. The NHL Central Scouting Services (CSS) is a department within the National Hockey League that ranks prospects for the NHL Entry Draft at specific times during the hockey season. Players are ranked based on how well they will translate to the professional game in the National Hockey League.
