Bernard Victor Jacob (20 November 1921 – 7 December 1992) was an Archdeacon in the Anglican Diocese of Southwark from 1977 to 1988. Jacob was educated at the Liverpool Institute and St Peter's College, Oxford. After a curacy at Middleton he was Vicar of Ulverston then Bilston. Bunny Jacob
Bernard "Bunny" Jacob was a Jewish businessman in Calcutta who was a director of the B.N. Elias and Company trading conglomerate and the last conductor of the Calcutta Symphony Orchestra. Family Jacob was the son of J.R. Jacob and Lily Elias. He had a brother Ronnie. He married his first cousin, Philomena "Philo" Gubbay, around 1949. Career Jacob was a director of the B.N. Elias and Company trading conglomerate. The firm traded in jute and tobacco, and owned real estate. Music Jacob and Ronnie studied music with Phillipé Sandré and Jacob took a keen interest in the Calcutta School of Music. Francisco Casanovas Tallardá ( Barcelona, October 9, 1899 – Murcia, December 16, 1986) was a Spanish conductor, composer, pedagogue, clarinetist, saxophonist and flautist. Biography Francisco Casanovas Tallardá was born in San Gervasio, Barcelona. He took his first music lessons at the Conservatorio de Música del Liceo of Barcelona and the Town School of Music. He studied harmony and composition with the teachers Lamote de Grignon y Morera and specialised in flute with maestro Vila. Among his classmates was the famous specialist in music theory Joaquín Zamacois.
