Cahit Ortaç
Hüseyin Cahit Ortaç (1908 in Thessaloniki – 13 December 1980) was a Turkish politician. He graduated from Faculty of Political Science, Ankara University. He worked as a civil servant in Dalaman and Istanbul. He served as a district governor in Alucra, Sürmene, Kargı and Mustafakemalpaşa. Later, he served as a governor in Hakkari, Kırklareli and Bursa. Also, he was a member of Council of State (Turkey) and Senate of the Republic (Turkey) Senate of the Republic ( tr, Cumhuriyet Senatosu) was the upper house of Turkish Parliament between 1961 and 1980. The governor of Bursa (Turkish: ''Bursa Valiliği'') is the bureaucratic state official responsible for both national government and state affairs in the Province of Bursa. Similar to the governors of the 80 other provinces of Turkey, the governor of Bursa is appointed by the government of Turkey and is responsible for the implementation of government legislation within Bursa. Sürmene ( Greek: Σούρμενα, ''Sourmena''; ota, ﺳﻮرﻣﻨﻪ, romanized as ''Sürmena e') is a small town and district of Trabzon Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Kırklareli () is a city within Kırklareli Province in the East Thrace, European part of Turkey. Name It is not clearly known when the city was founded, nor under what name. Alucra is a town and a district of Giresun Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, from the city of Giresun. It was a district of Şebinkarahisar province between 1924-1933. Etymology Alucra is a modification of the Ottoman Empire name ''El Ücra'' meaning ''far-off' or ''remote''.
