Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns
The Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns were a professional women's volleyball team that played in various tournaments, including the Shakey's V-League and the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). The team was owned by the family of Alvaro Antonio (governor of the Province of Cagayan from 2007 to 2016) and managed by his daughter, Criselda Antonio (the incumbent mayor of Alcala, Cagayan and provincial sports coordinator for the Province of Cagayan), herself, a former volleyball player. The team became inactive since July 2015 due to management issues within the team. The Shakey's V-League 12th Season Reinforced Open Conference was the 24th conference of the Shakey's V-League that started on October 10, 2015 at the Filoil Flying V Arena, San Juan. Tournament Format Preliminaries (PL) Teams will play a single round robin format. * The TOP 4 TEAMS will advance to the semi-finals (SF) round. * The bottom two (2) teams will be eliminated from the tournament. The 2014 PSL Grand Prix was the second tournament of the Philippine Super Liga for its 2014 season. The tournament ran from October 18, 2014 to November 30, 2014. The 2014 PSL Season was the second season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). There were two conferences for the season – the All-Filipino and the Grand Prix – for both women’s and men’s division.
