Cadia (band)
Cadia was an American Christian pop group composed of long-time best friends Courtney Myers and Tori Smith. They both went to school at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Their name, Cadia, is derived from the Greek word Arcadia, meaning place of peace, symbolizing the peace found when fears, insecurities, and trials are released. The group's debut album includes a song written by Nichole Nordeman called "Inside/Out", which was chosen as the official theme song for Women of Faith's Revolve Tour in 2007. Myers is the older sister of Carolyne Myers from the Christian pop group pureNRG. PureNRG (stylized as pureNRG and pronounced "Pure Energy") was a Christian pop group from Nashville, Tennessee. They were signed to Fervent Records in late 2006. They released six albums: their self-titled debut ''pureNRG'' (released May 2007), their second album ''Here We Go Again'' (released April 2008), a Christmas album ''A pureNRG Christmas'' (released September 2008), a remix album ''reNRGized'' (released December 2008), and their junior album ''The Real Thing'' (released July 2009). Nichole Ellyse Nordeman (born January 3, 1972) is an American Contemporary Christian music, contemporary Christian singer and songwriter. Biography Nordeman was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she played the piano in church. She got her start when she entered a Gospel Music Association (GMA) contest in Los Angeles, California and was noticed by a music producer. She has won multiple GMA Dove Awards, including two awards for Female Vocalist of the Year. Her best-known songs include "Why", "This Mystery", "Holy", "Legacy", "Brave", and "What If".
