Cabinteely Football Club () is an association football club based in Cabinteely, County Dublin, Ireland comprising adult and many youth under-age teams for both males and females, 60 teams in all. Cabinteely competed in the League of Ireland First Division from 2015 to 2021 after being granted a licence by the Football Association of Ireland in January 2015. They made their debut in the League of Ireland First Division on 6 March 2015 and play their games at Stradbrook Road, the home of Blackrock College RFC. The club, which was formed in 1967, fielded teams at every under-age level from under-8 to under-18 plus adult, taking part in several league and cup competitions such as those run by MGL, DDSL, LSL, and SDFL. Cabinteely () is a suburb of Dublin's southside. It is in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, County Dublin, Ireland. The population of all electoral divisions labelled as Cabinteely was 15,864 as of the 2022 census. Geography Cabinteely lies around the crossroads of Johnstown Road / Brennanstown Road and the Old Bray Road, and on either side of the Stillorgan Dual Carriageway ( N11), which is parallel to the Old Bray Road. The R827 road runs from Blackrock and terminates in Cabinteely. Much of Cabinteely is parkland (Cabinteely Park and Kilbogget Park) or open countryside (around Laughanstown and Brennanstown). Cabinteely borders Ballybrack, Carrickmines, Cherrywood, Cornelscourt, Deansgrange, Foxrock, Johnstown, Killiney and Loughlinstown. Stephanie Zambra (; born 13 June 1989) is an Irish retired footballer who played as a striker for Shamrock Rovers of Dublin and the Republic of Ireland women's national football team. Jason Paul Knight (born 13 February 2001) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Bristol City and for the Republic of Ireland national team. Club career Early career Knight began his career at Cabinteely, playing for the club from age 4. He was signed by Derby County at age 16. Andrew Declan Keogh (born 16 May 1986) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a forward for semi-professional side East Perth FC.
